Agent Alias was founded by, Beatriz Cadavid in September 2010 with the aim of providing businesses with a specialist sales representation service.
Beatriz has been working in the advertising industry since the 1990’s and has over 15 years experience in buying and selling media.
Her career began in Australia working as a media assistant for Dentsu owned, ad agency, AIS Media. Having spent 2 years there, she decided it was time to gain some new skills and moved to full-serviced agency, Euro RSCG.
Euro RSCG was at the cutting edge off innovation and winning new accounts such as Orange and many awards such as “Interactive Agency of the Year” by B&T Magazine. This was the year off the Internet boom where newspaper sites where charging $100 AUS CPM’s and Excite was the major leading search engine.
Beatriz had been working across all mediums such as Print, TV, Radio & Outdoor. However, the Internet was an exciting new medium and her digital career naturally began to take form.
Beatriz was offered the opportunity to return to AIS Media and was nominated ”e”- expert at the agency. Any campaigns that required a digital component would get planned, negotiated and bought by her.
AIS Media was soon bought by Starcom and is where Starcom IP Australia was born. Starcom decided to create an e-arm that would consist of a three-man team including Beatriz. A demand for online related campaigns was growing fast and so were their e-arm.
Beatriz’s digital agency background ended in Australia, at Mediacom’s e-arm, Beyond Interactive, who was brought on board as the main point of contact for the digital buying team.
In 2004, Beatriz moved to London and has been selling digital media ever since.
